What is the best and quickest way to delete selected photos from my iPhone

I have over 3,000 photos which I need to reduce for space

In Library you can choose Select and just run your finger up the page to select them all. When your finger gets to the top, the library autoscrolls to get more. I'd do it in chunks, since if your finger slips, you have to start over.


If you pinch to get more than 5 across, "Select" disappears.


You're sure you have backups, right? If you are using iCloud Photos, all these pictures will immediately be deleted from there, as well. Of course, as a safety, they go into "Recently Deleted" for 30 days. If you defeat that safety, there is no going back.
