iPhone 17 Pro Max stuck on "Time Remaining... Estimating" while restoring iCloud backup

My new iphone pro max came in the mail today. My other Iphone 14 is broken, screen coming off, if I am lucky, will only work if plugged into a specific charger. What are my next moves to get my icloud backup on to my new device. My latest backup was today. Every time I tried to transfer data from my old broken iphone, my broken iphone died, took like 1 hr for it to turn back on. Anyways, I need my new iphone ready for tomorrow, have to travel for work this weekend.
