iMessage how to find senders info

I like parts of Tahoe 26.01, but it seems someone at Apple is making changes for the sake of change rather than to make things better. ie. OK butting have been replace by a check box, WHY? In iMessage, at the top was the senders name. Click the down arrow and see some sender info. On messages sent from one person, click the picture, and it automatically goes to the Contacts. BUT where was the iMessage sent from. If the senders Contact has multiple phone numbers and emails, which did this note come from. In Maps, if a pin is accidentally dropped, right click it and select 'delete', that function is gone. WHY? now there is a multiple step process to delete the pin.

Change for the sake of change is NOT good, it is just confusing.
