How do I fix my Beats Studio Pro not charging properly?

I just got a pair of open box beats studio pro. I was able to get them to charge to about 11% after leaving them charging for about 8 hours. Other attempts to charge have gotten little to no charge after having them plugged in for hours. Now they have stopped flashing when charging and instead flash a red light when I try to turn them on.
