My Apple Pencil (USB-C) won’t connect to my iPad 11th generation (A16)

Hi everyone,

My Apple Pencil (USB-C) won’t connect to my iPad 11th Gen (A16).

I’ve tried:

• Fully removing the plastic cover from the USB-C plug
• Charging it overnight with a 20W adapter
• Restarting the iPad
• Plugging it directly into the iPad (no adapters or cables)

Even after all that, the Pencil doesn’t show the pop-up or appear in Settings.

My iPad works fine with other USB-C devices.

Has anyone else experienced this, or know if there’s a fix? Or is this likely a defective / DOA unit?
