All my photos are missing from icloud

All my photos are missing from cloud after I upgrade my iPhone 13 PM to iphone 17 pro yesterday at Apple Store Trafford Centre yesterday (12-oct). The advisor ask me to sync my photos to cloud which I did. Now all my photos are gone!! Will I be able to find them again??

That's hard to know. Is it possible that you signed in to a different Apple ID?
