ALL MAIL INBOX has GREYED OUT

While I can see ALL MAIL in my MAIL favourites - It's gone pale grey and if you click on it, it doesn't operate anymore as an ALL MAIL inbox. Not sure what has happened and how to retrieve the use of it. Anyone had this issue or know how to resolve it? I have tried re-adding it with the plus but to no avail - it still doesn't work.
