Unable to delete multiple photos by shaking my iPhone after iOS 26 update

till iOS 18, I used to be able to select multiple photos and delete them or recover them from recently deleted folder by shaking the phone.

once I updated to iOS 26, I can only do this for 1 photo at a time. If I select multiple photos this doesn’t work anymore
