I'm having trouble reordering my Albums in Photos on 17 Pro.
I have it set to custom order but the drag and drop doesn't work.

Apple Support's online article for iOS 26 suggests we: "touch and hold" an album, then drag it to a new position":
Create and work with photo albums on iPhone - Apple Support
Eg: says:
"Sort albums
- Go to the Photos app
on your iPhone. - Tap Collections.
- Tap Albums, tap
, then choose a sort option. - If you choose Sort by Custom Order, touch and hold an album, then drag it to a new position.
- To show only albums or only folders, tap , tap Filter, then choose an option.
To change the format of the albums list, tap , then select List View or Key Photo."

If the above method is not working for you, you may want to try updating to iOS 26.0.1, if you haven't already done so. (Reminder: It is always wise to back up iPhone before updating iOS version)
