I recently changed from iPhone 11 to 13, I don’t have access to the old phone now but my iCloud data is not synching, what do I do, I need help

iPhone 13, iOS 26
After the 18.6.1 update, my Contacts and messages stopped synching. Messages only showed an email address instead of my cell #. Until the update, all had worked fine. I finally had to ask for a phone call from Apple Support; they spent more than an hour trying to resolve the problem and agreed this was an Apple issue. I have updated to 18.7.1 and still have some issues with Contact synching.
