Epson printer gives a security warning when I want to print on my iPad and iPhone since the latest update

This is how it looks

Security Warning

The printer "EPSON ET-3850 Series" appears to be a different printer than the previously used printer with the same name or the connection may not be trustworthy. If this is expected, tap "Continue".

Without delving too deeply into to technical complexities of TLS/SSL, the warning that you see is entirely benign and expected...

Each time that you power-cycle your printer, it automatically generates a new self-signed Certificate with which to encrypt the printing connection. Being self-signed and without a trusted-root, your iPad (and other devices) cannot validate the authenticity of the Certificate - and for this reason you will see the warning that you describe.

That said, selecting Continue should allow you to click-through any associated security warnings.
