I just bought the new iPad Air 3. I do not want it to sync with my 16 iPhone. I have a lot of pictures and things I don’t want to share on it. Is there a way to turn syncing off my iPad? I only like to use that for bills

If there are other things you don't want synced on the iPad, don't turn them on (or turn off if already on) in the iPad Settings app > [username] > iCloud > Saved to iCloud section.

Settings>[name]>iCloud>See All-- turn off the things you don't want to sync.

On the iPad: Open the Settings app, click on your name (top of menu list), select iCloud. Under Saved to iCloud, click on See All and uncheck anything you do not wish to sync.
