Google Takeout to iCloud transfer failure due to insufficient iCloud storage

I’m currently in the process of transferring my photos from Google Photos to iCloud. During this process, I ran out of iCloud storage, and as a result, the transfer request appears to have failed — it shows as “failed” on Google Takeout. However, when I log into my Apple account, it still shows the transfer request as “in progress.”

I’ve since purchased additional iCloud storage, but I’m unsure what to do next. Should I start the transfer process again and make a new request, or should I cancel the existing one first? It doesn’t seem to be progressing. Also, if I make a new request, will it result in duplicate photos being uploaded to iCloud? That’s something I want to avoid.
