Using my own iCloud storage but accessing shared family Apple Music plan

Hello all

I have 200GB iCloud+ and Apple Music all shared across 6 family members (not Apple One, two separate subs for storage and Music).

One members needs more storage but we'd rather not increase to 2TB yet.

Searching forums and AI answers, it seems that...

- They can leave the shared iCloud storage and pay for their own 200GB for their account (which apparently will be added to the current 200GB so all share 400GB)

- They can remain part of the family and share access to Apple Music.

Can anybody kindly confirm the above is possible please?
