I have an iPad air and want to move, open. or share a [df with pdf with pages
the pdf in in iCloud and slide in files . I just want to open the PDF file and view it. 26 point oh one. imam running 26.0.1
what is the simplest way to do this

Why Pages?
Pages is a word processing app, it doesn’t directly support opening pdfs.
You can tap on the PDF in the Files App, and it will just open. In iPadOS 26 it will use the new Preview App.
Otherwise you can use a number of 3rd party apps to open and view PDFs including Adobe’s Acrobat Reader.
