Magic Keyboard - Globe key does not show list of Shortcuts, but changes the input language

Hoping for help here.

I have my keyboard set to be able to switch between two languages. I can change input language by clicking ctrl+space. So far, so good.

however, I can also change language by pressing the globe key.

I would like the globe key to show the list of shortcuts, as it is supposed to. Not change language. It feels redundant having two was to change language, and none to display the full list of shortcuts.

Is this a setting somewhere I messed up? I have googled this to insanity, and can’t figure out a solution.
