New Studio display keeps blinking off. Help. I replaced the surge protector. The MacMini is not losing power.

The display t

The Apple studio display is a 5K display with a thunderbolt interface.

It successful use at full resolution depends on your using EXACTLY the one meter pre-Engineered cable that shipped in the box, or a 0.5 meter or shorter ThunderBolt cable.

Longer cables MUST be ACTIVE ThunderBolt cables, much more expensive, or they will not work.
