Apple Pencil Pro not connecting with Find My app, receiving error

Hi, I’ve been having trouble connecting my Apple Pencil Pro to find my app. It keeps telling me to reattach my Apple Pencil, but I do that and still get the same message as shown in the attached picture. How can I fix this?
