18.7 iphone, won't crop properly

Since last update, unable to crop pics without losing what you're keeping. Not aspect ratio either.

Cropping is now set to maintain the same aspect ratio (the relationship between width and height) as the original picture, so when you first start to crop, you can only change the size and where the center is. Some people pick a certain aspect ratio, and they want it to stay with that form even when they need to crop the picture.


In Crop mode, you can find the little button at the top of the screen

that lets you change the aspect ratio. An aspect ratio of 16:9, for instance, is the usual value for television. The phone's sensor is 4:3. Freeform allows you to choose any rectangle you like.
