Apple Pencil always disconnects from my iPad after update

After my iPad has been updated to iPadOS26, my Apple Pencil starts to disconnect from my iPad more often once it’s not being used. I am not certain if it is a bug of the iOS26. But it quite affects my daily life if I need to take notes. The Pencil automatically disconnects. Can I do anything to prevent this situation?
