Migrating from Google One to iCloud

I want to end my google one subscription and migrate my data to iCloud. I want to know when I transfer my data will my photos maintain their original date they were taken in (chronologically)? Or will they get all jumbled up and reflect the day they were transferred? I asked around on the Gemini and it says that- yes, they do keep the original date they were taken on (something about metadata of the photo). Just confirming before my world crashes and burns. I haven’t been able to update my phone to iOS26 and i really need the space. I would love some clarity- Thanks a bunch!
