iOS26 Freezing on Messages App and sometimes closes App

At my employer, we use email to text to notify our staff of critical alarming. These emails are sent from a Microsoft Exchange Server. iOS26 is causing everyone's phone to freeze in the Messages app when trying to open this specific text stream. The phone just locks up for a period of time then unfreezes, only to do it again if you click on that message contact again. There is no way to actually read these messages and the only way to clear them is to delete all messages from that contact.

The problem worsens at times, and the entire messages app is locking up and shutting down, preventing view of any text messages.
