Genmoji not downloading on brand new iPhone 17 Pro

I've been getting the "downloading support for Genmoji..." message on my iPhone since I set it up on Saturday morning (48 hours ago). Have it on wi-fi, have had it plugged in for hours and hours, latest software is installed....still nothing. What do I do?
