accessing photos library via iMessages

All of a sudden when on my MacBook Pro I don't have access to my iPhotos library to choose a photo to send in my message. It says No Library found..Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1 (24G90)

First, check to see if your Library is designated as the System Library. Go to Photos' Settings>General

Here, "Use as System Photos Library" is grayed out, because it is already set.


You can have only one System Library, but do you have other Libraries? You can find out by using the Library picker. Close Photos and then option-click on the Photos icon.


I have several Libraries, and this shows the path to each one and which is the System Library.
