HELP - Calendar always opens to an event

Hello!

Whenever I open the calendar app, instead of opening to the day (like it used to and like I want it to), it opens to an event happening that day. It didn’t used to do that and I can’t seem to get it fixed. I tried a “fix” I saw here on a very old post that no longer allows replies — to change the default calendar… but that was a no-go. I changed it to a backup email… but it’s still opening to my main email calendar.

Please help. After 2+ years… It’s getting annoying!
