Searching past or future calendar events not working on iPhone 17 Pro

Upgraded from 16pro to 17pro, everything is fine EXCEPT I can no longer search for past or future calendar events. It only allows me to search on “today”

All of my calendar app settings are still in place so that’s not it. Anyone else?
