I have a new Mac desktop and I'm trying to upload pictures to FB. When I choose to pic a photo from the from my photos app, I can't it's all greyed. There are solutions for pads and phone's but not desktops. I have no issues with my apple phone, just the desktop. What do I do?

I'm not sure what method you're using. When I want to upload a picture from Photos to a web site in Safari ,I click on the site's Upload button, and I see this:
In the Media Picker at the bottom of the sidebar I choose Photos, and I can see my Library. I can scan through them to choose the picture I want, or I can use the Search Field to search for a date or location or object or person or keyword or whatever to help me find the one I need.
Are you saying all of these pictures in this process are grayed out? Or a few are? If it's a few, what do they have in common?
