Cannot Search Calendar IOS26 on iphone 16

Hello since upgrading I cannot search my icloud calendar on my iPhone 16. Here is what I have done so far

1. Turn off icloud calendar and then turned back on. restart phone.
2. re-synce the calendar and set it as default.
3. in search - claendar toggle off and on
4. reset all setting on the iphone.
5. deleted the calendar and the reinstalled it.
6. added a duplicate as a second calendar
7. merged newly created calendar

none of this has worked

I know the calendar is not corrupted as it works on my Macbook. I have spent the week reseraching this and following every guide online and nothing works
