Unable to add child's iPad to existing Family Sharing plan

I have a family sharing that I've been in with friends from few yrs ago with a family plan and now I just bought my daughter an iPad and was trying to setup her kid account under me but doesn't seem I can maybe because I'm under a different family sharing? Pls confirm or advise how to proceed with this
