Photos/videos number count differs between Photos and Settigs About

So, on my iPhone Photos app is says I have:

40,000 photos and

1,000 videos

My iPad mini and iPad Air photos app say the same - 40,000 and 1,000.

In Settings/About My iPad mini and iPad Air both say:

40,000 photos and

1,000 videos

In Settings/About on my iPhone it says:

40,00 photos and

1,002 videos

For the life of me, I have no idea where these extra 2 videos are.

Any ideas please?

Are the system versions the same on all devices, all the current system versions installed? Depending on the system versions young be getting different counts for composite media files, for example, a Live Photo may suddenly be counted as two items, if the video component is getting separated from the still frame after a system upgrade. Quite a few of my Live Photos have been turned into separate pairs of a still frame and a video on my Mac, particularly the Live Photos I created from videos using third party apps.

I kinda wish you hadn't bought this up.

My iPad says

and settings says

Of course I don't really know what it's counting. I have pictures and videos in Files, for instance, so maybe that's part of the "settings" count. Does it count iCloud Drive files? It seems like it could be any of those.

My first thought was to look and see if I was missing 2 videos, and then seeing if maybe you had them…
