I’ve noticed a really weird glitch with the Notes app in the new IOS. When you write far enough down the note, the keyboard covers up what you’re writing instead of following the cursor down the page. It makes it kind of impossible to write longer notes, since once you get far enough down a page you can’t see what you’re writing. Help! Anyone know a fix?

The only workaround is to turn your phone to the left (in a horizontal position) and then back, and it seems to work. But only while you are in the same note.
Try tapping the emoji symbol twice to open and close the emoji panel then try scrolling the notes up to get access to the bottom part. Don’t know why but this randomly worked for me.

This same issue is happening in messages, too.
I rarely use my iPad in 'portrait' mode, however now it is necessary because the keyboard no longer floats to show enough space where you are typing. It's incredibly aggravating!
This was never an issue prior to the 26 update.

I came here looking for a solution to the frustrational keyb as well. Just popped back to notes to check my specific challenges. And I think I am cured - using Notes on my iPhone 13 mini with 26.1, when one adds to or edits a note. The keyb pops up as required and and and in the top RH corner a large yellow tick appears, clicky that and the keyboard disappears until you next needy need it, and the accessorize bar reduces to the bottom left. I do hope this works for you azwell.
As i type this missive, I note there is a black tick far right of the bar above the keybee on this page, tap same and the instant keybee for this disappears as well. Having said that typing and editing this has been a challenge navigating, as it keeps popping in and out of the dialogical box.
He is collecting a new 17pro tomorrow and hopeful that the larger format will obviate some of these challenges.

Same here and tilting the phone and back again is not fixing the problem. Hard reset not fixing it. Please fix it Apple
I’m also having this issue! Mine doesn’t work even with the tilt. Keyboard covers it up. I’ve had to make multiple notes that will need to be merged. Hope Apple fixes this soon.
Notes is now unusable since iOS26 update because content is hidden by the keyboard because the content no longer moves up the page
