Using Apple pencil with my iPad Air 5

Issue:

When using the stock Notes app with Apple Pencil, the right side of the iPad (where the M1 chip is located) heats up noticeably. This does not happen:

when using Notes without Apple Pencil, or

when using Apple Pencil in third-party apps like GoodNotes or Notability.

The problem has been raised repeatedly by users over the years, yet Apple hasn’t provided a fix. Restarting the device doesn’t resolve it.

Question:

Why does this heating issue occur only in the built-in Notes app with Apple Pencil, and is there any effective way to reduce it while still being able to use Notes?

What should I do ?
