Apple wired keyboard not recognized after sign-in
Kind of a weird phenomena happening. I have my 2017 Mac retina 27" set up as a dual boot, the base setup is running Mojave 10.14.6 and everything is just fine with my Apple wired keyboard and my Logitech MX Master 2S mouse. The Dongle is plugged in and i have no problems whatsoever running Mojave.
The problem seems to be that when I do a cold boot, and hold the option key down, I get the option to run Ventura which is mounted on a 1TB external SSD. So I use the keyboard arrows to select the Ventura drive, hit return, and then my different home screen shows up with a keyboard prompt for the password. I enter the password and it goes immediately to the desktop, but the Logitech mouse is not responsive, and when I try to use the keyboard a popup appears saying that your keyboard cannot be recognized.
I'm in the middle of moving state to state, and I know my apple mouse is packed away in one of the many boxes. So I'm wondering if theres some sort of workaround that I can do while in the Mojave OS that will help Ventura recognize both the mouse and the keyboard? I also get a pop up on the desktop saying that another disk has features that are not recognized by this OS. But there's no icon for the 1TB external drive.
Thanks in advance for any/all advice.-Mike
