I’m pretty sure all links are http. I’m know expert, but I know this isn’t right.

http is but one of myriad protocols supported by URLs, and one of two commonly used with html URLs.

Getting a redirect from http to https is common.

Which web browser?

What extensions are loaded?

Any security apps, or VPN apps, installed?

If not already running iOS 18.6.2, update.

Background:

If the link is using http, that is port TCP 80.

If the link is using https, that is TCP 443.

Most browsers will prefer to use https, and will offer to or will automatically switch to TCP 443.

I had previously suggested attending some product classes at local Apple Store as a way to better understand how things work, and to get an opportunity to ask some questions, and I think that might help here.
