The way to bulk "delete" iOS calendar inbox for shared iCloud calendars (version 18.6.2)

One of our kids decided to do some calendar cleanup on her phone, with the result that I got over a thousand calendar notifications in my Calendar app inbox to deal with. There is no way to bulk delete these like you can with MacOS.

What worked for me is to go to Settings, then click on the first line that has my name and Apple/iCloud account info. Then I went to the link that says iCloud (for me it was like the fifth one down) and clicked there. On the next screen I have something that looks like "saved on iCloud" with a little link next to it that says "Show All." I clicked Show All. On this new screen, I went to the second calendar listing, not the one that says Calendar on iCloud but the second one further down that just says "Calendar." I toggled that off. It took maybe 5-10 minutes, but my inbox slowly cleared; I could see the messages count down if I went to the Calendar app and looked. After the inbox was clear, I just toggled that same one back on, and all the events were back and the inbox stayed clear.

Doing this on my phone seems to have also taken care of my pad, as I did not have to do anything there.

Sorry, I did not post screenshots porque uso la idioma Español para my celular. :)
