How to cancel Daily Yoga app subscription without cancellation option?

How do I cancel subscription when there is no option to cancel in app setting? I payed through Appleby. The only way to cancel give by the app help is from iTunes Store (they do not reply to any contact requests i've sent them) - they give a link that just goes to a loading page and does nothing and in iTunes Store there is no option to cancel it as it doesn't cover apps. This relates to DailyYoga. i can see this question was posted in 2022 and closed without any resolution as the responder just get posting a link of the normal process to cancel a subscription which I can do for any normal subscription that appears under 'subscriptions' but was not useful the question asked then or that i am asking now. There were many people at that time having this problem.

Daily Yoga offer 2 ways to subscribe to their service. You can use an in-app purchase that is managed by Apple, or subscribe directly with the developer where Apple is not involved at all. If you subscribed directly with the Developer, then it will not appear in your Purchase History for your Apple Account, and you must cancel through the Developer. They give the instructions here for cancelling a subscription made on their website:

If you are unable to get this resolved through the Developer, then you must dispute the charge with your bank where you are seeing the charges. They also must block future transactions, not just issue you a new card.

Did you sign up for the Monthly plan or the Yearly plan? If you signed up for the yearly plan, you are still obligated to pay that amount, even though they broke it up into smaller monthly amounts. If they did receive your email, they may have cancelled your subscription so it won't renew, and would be why you don't see the option to cancel in the app and it would still show as you can still use it for the remainder of the term, but I understand your concern since you are unable to get any confirmation.


You can still contact your card that is being billed, as they are able to block future charges to prevent renewal. Apple Pay simply gives the merchant the unique token that the bank provided you when your card was added to the Wallet, that way the merchant does not have your actual Account Number. Apple is not involved in the billing of the transaction and does not approve or deny any of the charges. That is still done by the bank of the card in the same way any other credit card purchase is made, just without the merchant having your account number that could be exposed in a data breach. The bank also has the ability to revoke this token that was given to the merchant when you subscribed.

There is no Cancel Subscription option in settings on the website (https://webapp.dailyyoga.com/setting) which I use as the videos don't play on the phone app) It just lists policies and FAQs. I did subscribe to the introductory offer on the website but paid via Applepay (autocorrect keeps trying to change that to Appleby) so I'm trying to make sure it doesn't authorised any renewal payment. On dailyyoga.com it only gives the option to sign up, not to sign in so there is no ME to go to.


In the app in the subscription section it shows what the subscription is but there is no option to change it/cancel it, just to see the status. I have emaiedl the support email twice but had no reply.
