As long as you didn't give them ANY personal information, such as credit card, Apple Account or any Passwords, you chalk this up to almost becoming a victim of a scam. If, however, you did give them any personal details, follow the directions in this link --> If you think your Apple Account has been compromised - Apple Support

All such text messages are scams designed to get your personal details. NEVER respond to a text like this. Don't ever call them. They are evil and we all get such messages on a daily basis.

lobsterfhost thank you so much! I didn’t give any info but they did have like my zip code and knew where I banked but I changed all my oasswords.

You're welcome. You'd be surprised how much the scammers know about us. Our addresses, email address, home address, phone numbers, etc., are all buyable pieces of information. All we can do is be vigilant and NEVER respond to these evil scammers. I'm glad nothing nefarious will happen to you.

I only get them about twice a year. Of course I have only given out my phone number to 3 people in the world (all family members). ;-)

I figure the ones I do get must be some bot sending out texts via some number generating script working in sequence. Oddly, the ones I have received have been really lame phishing. I have never once in 6 years of having a cellphone received one about an Apple purchase. I would instantly know it was fake because I have never actually purchased anything from Apple's app or media stores.
