My iPhone 15 has stopped playing audio on videos. I have looked through here and someone posted go to Photos turn off auto play videos but that option doesn’t exist so does anyone have a solution thank you.

Are you using iCloud Photos?
If yes, the sound track may need downloading from iCloud. Make sure, you are connected to Wi-Fi and there is enough free storage to download the sound track.
If there is a mute button to the right of the slider, the video should have sound.
When you are using iCloud Photos and your iPhone is low on local storage, Photos may not be able to download the video in full quality. Are you using iCloud Photos? How much storage is free on the iPhone?
Have the videos been taken with the iPhone? Or have you imported videos from a different camera?
Thank you but I am not sure what you mean, do I have to download a soundtrack for every video I am scrolling through. Do you know why this has happened I have had the phone for 18 months and it hasn't happened before
