I tried to add my BMO debit card to my apple wallet on my MacBook by going to my settings. However, I tried to both enter the card details manually and automatically but an error message pops up saying that my card isn't compatible with the wallet app on Mac.

Is it a debit or credit card? What Payment Network Operator is the card on (Visa, MasterCard, American Express etc.)? Do you have any cards currently in your Apple Wallet app?
Are you in Canada or US? Have you ever used a VPN on your Mac? Do you have any antivirus/malware software on your Mac? What is the exact error message?
I'm in Canada and I don't have a VPN. I have Norton for my Mac since I need it for the upcoming school year. I've attached a screenshot of the error message.
