Accuweather and Apple Watch Ultra not syncing after latest update

Since the middle of August with the latest Accuweather update (App version 21.0.3-2), my Apple watch ultra is stuck in Imperial Units. Changing back on the iphone between Metric and Imperial makes no difference on the Apple Watch. Also Locations saved on the iphone do not sync over to the Apple watch ultra.

All the 'normal' steps have been take to resolve, to no avail. Force close apps, Restart both devices, check for updates, etc etc.

Anyone else have same issue?

Does “etc etc” include unpairing and setting up again, if necessary without restoring the backup?

Easy Fix. I just deleted the app and now I have no problems with it. Just use the Weather app that comes with the watch. 🤙🏼

OK, update. Accuweather App has a new update, Version 21.0.6. Notes say:

Improved syncing for WatchOS and iPhone

However, nothing, still does not work!!!!!

I have now cancelled my subscription to Accuweather and deleted it from my iPhone and Apple Watch, not interested anymore.

Will be switching to the native Weather App.

This is closed for me now.

Sorry to hear that the developer is still working on the issue. Until they update the app, there is nothing the users of this app can do.

Did you try an alternative weather app?

This is so so frustrating. They said it was fixed in the latest release… it absolutely isn’t. Did they actually pass this through testing? It won’t be long before I start looking elsewhere as they are just leading us along

Got a new Ultra 3.... updated iphone to iOS 26.01.1, updated Ultra 3 to watchOS26.0.2 and the problem is STILLLL THEEERRREEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is so frustrating......its been 6 weeks now, how hard can it be to fix? I am wondering if Accuweather are actually aware and looking into it, or are we just on our own on this?

how widespread is this issue?

I cannot believe everyone around the world has the same problem and it has not been fixed, is it limited to a small number of users and that is why its not being resolved?
