How do I add loyalty cards to my Apple Wallet?

I just switched from Samsung to iPhone and a one thing I’m already not liking a lot is not being able to add all of my loyalty cards and other non-NFC cards to my Apple wallet. I had about two dozen loyalty cards in my Samsung wallet that I cannot add and it’s extremely frustrating. Why does Apple wallet not give an option to adding these kinds of cards Samsung‘s been doing it for years why is Apple being so particular and is there another solution?

Most loyalty and/or rewards cards require the card be added using the merchant’s mobile app. This is basically Apple’s implementation of privacy and security measures. Yes, this is different than Android systems, but an easy fix.

If you have a loyalty card that doesn’t not have a corresponding app to add the card, you can use an app like Card2U or Pass4walket to add bar codes, QR codes jr bar cards.
