Calendar app no longer supports days in advance alerts on iPhone 12 Pro

Any time up set up appointments I usually set it for 1 week before and 2 hours before. Worked fine until recently. No matter what I choose, it resets both alerts to one hour before and 2 hours before. I have checked the following steps: Ensured notifications are enabled for Calendar in Settings and chosen to display alerts in the Lock Screen, Notification Center, or as banners. Made sure "Allow Notifications" is toggled on. Under "Alerts," selected where I wanted the notifications to appear (e.g., Lock Screen, Notification Center, or Banners). Chose all 3. In the Calendar app, tapped "Calendars" at the bottom, then tapped the "i" icon next to the calendar you're using. Ensured "Event Alerts" are enabled in all calendars. I'm at a loss.
