Still unable to change calendar reminder sound

First reported this (as many others have) over a year ago and frustrating, no apparent desire to fix it from the team at Apple.

Have just installed the latest update today (18.6) and the issue remains.

I’m on a iPhone 15 but as you’ll see from the following thread, it’s effecting lots of other devices too:

What’s really interesting is that myself and my wife both purchased brand new iPhones at the exact same time, from the exact same provider, and had the same default settings. Mine has the problem and the calendar notification sounds cannot be changed; hers does not have the problem.

I’ve tried everything listed in that thread, plus have even done a complete factory reset. No joy. Definitely seem to need a fix at the root cause within the OS.

As this is effecting lots of people across multiple devices, and has persisted now for over a year at least, can someone from Apple please:

1) Confirm this is on your “to do” list to fix

2) Provide a timeframe

(Note: I appreciate it’s a low priority for Apple, and probably isnt effecting the majority of customers - totally accept that - but for those users it does effect, it can be problematic… especially in an office environment when you have an intrusive and long notification sound going off which annoys colleagues).

3) If it’s NOT currently on your radar to fix, please ensure it has been added, and please request its fixed within 6 months if possible.
