Unable to recover my lost Calendar events on iPhone 14

I have an Iphone 14 and all of a sudden, I lost all of my calendar events (past and future). I have tried all the suggestions when I googled how to repair and nothing has worked. Went to ICloud and tried to restore, but nothing. Please help.

On what email account do you keep the calendar? Have you verified that it is syncing and enabled.

I'm not for sure about this, but the only email I have is a gmail account. I assume it's synced but how would I know. Thanks for your help and sorry I am technology challenged.
