How do I export Apple Calendar events to Numbers spreadsheet on iPad?

I am wanting to select a date range from the calendar and convert it into a spreadsheet to allow me to tick off appointments that have been made and confirmed tried this through Shortcuts but I’m really struggling. Does anybody have the shortcut ready built or advice on how to do it? I’ve been through chat GTP and it’s just asking for magic variables and bits that aren’t actually available on the iPad. thanks in advance. not sure if it makes a difference but i’m in the UK

Hello Callender02,

I had created a shortcut (in Shortcuts) to export reminders. I modified it slightly to adapt it to export calendar events. Here it is : Export Events.

This shortcut prompts you for a range of dates and saves a tab-separated file on iCloud Drive (in the Shortcuts folder, which you can change). You can open this file in Numbers. (Numbers is compatible with tab-separated files.)

Here is the original shortcut for reminders : Export Reminders. It will show you that you can add as many details as you want about the item (reminder, in this case) to the output file.

You only need to follow the same logic (“Get Details of Calendar Event” followed by an “If” action to test whether it’s empty). Additionally, you need to also modify the column header (see Comment “Write column headers” in the code) and, most importantly, add the field/detail in the Combine action towards the end of the shortcut.
