How To Disable Safari Print Footer Option - iPad or iPhone

After a one-hour phone call with Apple Support, it’s my understanding that you can no longer disable the footer when printing from Safari on iPad or iPhone — specifically the auto-generated footer that includes the web URL, date, and page numbers.

Does anyone know of a workaround (besides using Microsoft Edge)? Also, is Apple planning to reintroduce this feature in a future update — and if so, when?
