i have a mac mini m2. And when ever i shutdown and unplug the mac (cut all power) and then if i restart it the "time" & "date" is worng on the lock screen and it corrects automatically when login is done. why is that?
when i do not unplug it from power it does not lose time and date.

Why are you cutting off the power or pulling the plug...?
Never cut off the power or pull the plug when the Mac mini is in lock screen or sleep mode.
What you need to do, is fully Shut Down the Mac mini before cutting off the power or pulling the plug.
Where is your Mini located, in your home? If so don't sleep/lock the screen. If you leave it for extended periods of time or overnight shut it down. Just use the screensaver and have it turn off the monitor after a set time period.
