Birthdays in Contacts app on Mac one day off

This is a serious issue and bonkers that this has been a known issue for years and still hasn't been addressed.

I have contacts on an exchange server that have a birthdate. They appear correct on my phone and iPad, however, on my Mac, in both the Contacts app and the Calendar app, the birthday is WRONG (it's 1 day later than it should be).

This is very concerning (though I am glad to see it's limited to my Exchange contacts and not all my iCloud contacts too). I recognize there is some bug with the Mac service and a limitation of the Microsoft protocol, but you would think Apple would have a way to handle this so that it doesn't appear wrong in their apps.
