How to restore original projects after editing a compound clip in Final Cut Pro?

I have an older project from 2023, once finished, I made it a compound clip to tidy things up. I made a new project in 2024 and used the same compound clip from the old project. I edited the compound clip which I didn't know edited the compound clip in all projects it is used in.

Is there any way to get back the original project before I had made the changes to the compound clip?
