How to resolve missing iCloud default calendar events on multiple Apple devices?

I have 3 devices:

iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS version 18.4.1

iPad Air 11-inch (M2), IpadOS Version 18.4.1

MacBook Pro Apple M4 chip, MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1

Calendar events missing after iOS 18.2.1 update on iPhone 12 I updated to 18.2.1 this evening. The phone turned back on and everything seemed normal. A couple of hours later, I went to my Calendar app to check my upcoming appointments and they were all wiped out. In fact, events I had deleted and/or changed a year ago were now there (which was just a couple of recurring monthly events since I didn't start using Calendar much until a few months ago). I tried all the things in the Community I've seen other people try - hiding and unhiding the different calendars; toggling off and back on the "use on this iPhone" button in the iCloud Calendar settings; deleting the Calendar Account and then re-adding/syncing it, etc. The events aren't even showing up when I search keywords in the search bar in the Calendar app (this was true when the phone first turned back on also). Is there another option I haven't tried? Also of note, I have had this account for a long time but I have never actually allowed my phone to sync Calendar to my iCloud, so I am wondering where this old Calendar data is being stored? iPhone calendar not working My problem is two fold. My iphone calendar has always been set to default to icloud, synch All Event, and my appointments are categorized. Everything worked great. Now only some appts appear when I do searches. Is there a problem with icloud being the default calendar? I've also lost my calendar history. I need my calendar! How do I correct these problems? Thanks.

iPhone calendar deleting old events even though Calendar Sync is set to keep All Events All the non-recurring events older than 60 days continue to disappear from my Calendar, even though... Settings > Calendar > Sync is set to keep All Events; These are all local events I entered myself, not from a subscription to a 3rd party calendar; I don't use iCloud for Calendar, ever, at all; All the missing old events still appear on the desktop Mac which I sync with - going back years. They just drop off the iPhone. Any help? Is this a known bug? (And please don't just suggest upgrading to the latest iOS.) Thanks in advance.

What might “iCloud default calendar events” mean exactly?

iClous is simply a place where calendars maybe housed. Setting up iCloud for Calendar commences with no events.
